About Me

I love to sew!  I have been sewing for the past 24 years. I love selecting fabric, patterns and trims!  I started sewing when I was pregnant with my first child and then continued making sweet outfits for all four of my kiddos as they grew. The more I practiced the better I got.  I love the feeling I got the day when my kids were proud of what they were wearing and told everyone, "My mom made it!" That's why I love teaching others to sew.  It's such a wonderful feeling to know you did something with your own hands.   

 

Why Every Little Bird?

In addition to being inspired by our family's last name, my daughter and I were inspired by Matthew 6:26 " Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" God gives us the ability to learn new skills and clothe our families because he loves us, just as much as he loves every little bird.
